Coronavirus / Covid-19 Patient Protection Policy
Effective Thursday 18th June
We take the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff extremely seriously. We have undertaken a rigorous and comprehensive risk assessment to ensure that our clinic meets ‘Covid19-secure’ guidelines, in accordance with advice from the UK Government and the British Chiropractic Association.
As a result, we have made changes to the way we will run the clinic when we reopen on Thursday 18th June 2020. To ensure everyone’s safety during your visit, please help us by observing the following guidelines:
For your added safety
It’s very important that you DO NOT attend the clinic if you have any of the following symptoms, or have been in close contact with anyone showing such symptoms, however mild:
In such cases, please stay at home and follow self-isolation advice on nhs.uk/coronavirus. Check your symptoms via the 111 online coronavirus service, follow the specialist medical advice and find out how to get tested.

Please allow up to 1 hour & 15 minutes for your initial consultation; this costs £60 adults / £50 children.
Please bring with you a list of any medication you may be taking, and also your reading glasses if you use them. Your Chiropractor will discuss and assess your condition. If Chiropractic is appropriate, a course of proposed treatment will be explained to you. In cases where Chiropractic is not appropriate, we can refer patients to a relevant health care professional.
Follow-up appointments last about 20 minutes and cost £40 adults / £30 children.
An Extended Treatment Charge of £50 may be levied if a longer appointment is needed and in certain circumstances, such as a return to treatment after a long period of absence - please ask for details.
We keep a range of items for sale: pillows, supports, cold-packs etc and we can also order items to your specific requirements.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment - we accept cash, cheques and cards.
We are registered with a large number of insurers including BUPA, AXA PPP, Simply Health- HSA. Although we require payment at the time of your appointment, we will provide a receipt in order that you can submit any claim. Please check your policy information with your insurer before treatment, as we cannot do this on your behalf.
We do not require you to be referred, however if you have private healthcare insurance which covers Chiropractic, it may be a condition of claim that you need a GP referral; you should contact your insurer for details.
This Clinic has been awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark by the Royal College of Chiropractors, which recognizes the service we provide for our patients.
